A Commitment to Excellence and Advancement in the Field of Pathology Informatics

The Association of Pathology Informatics (API) serves to advance the field of pathology informatics through research, educational initiatives, scientific meetings, and through electronic and printed communications.  API continues at the forefront of bioinformatics advances in its efforts to develop standards for the analysis, report, transfer, and storage of medical and research data and images.

Rapid advancements in computer technologies and digital imaging have created exciting new opportunities for data synthesis and storage systems.  It is our mission as an Association to provide our constituents with challenging educational and professional career development initiatives  focused on new advances in medical/research data and imaging analysis, and its ultimate influence on research applications, disease prevention and health care.

 

A Commitment to Excellence in Leadership

The API Leadership Fund is used to support the Association’s scientific and educational initiatives.  The membership of API represents the very best in pathology informatics, with a collective distinguished history of excellence in science and leadership in the bioinformatics community.  As a member of the Association, your support is critical in providing both the inspiration and financial resources to fund future initiatives of API

 

Your tax-deductible donation to the API Leadership Fund can be used to fund the following:

  • Provide trainee travel funds for API members

  • Sponsor merit awards and fellowships

  • Sponsor future educational and career development initiatives

  • Sponsor workshops or symposia at the Pathology Informatics 20XX national meeting

Donation Levels:

  • President's Club:  $2,500 or more
  • Platinum: $2,000 - $2,499
  • Gold: $1,500 - $1,999
  • Silver: $1,000 - $1,499
  • Bronze: $500 - $999
  • Friends of API: $100 - $499
