API-Sunquest Webinar Series January 2017 to May 2017

Dear Pathbytes:

The Association for Pathology Informatics (API) and Sunquest Information Systems are pleased to announce the new API-Sunquest webinar series for January 2017 to May 2017.  We invite you to register for the first webinar in our joint series. The webinar titled, “The Shifting Value Equation Between Hospital Labs and Reference Labs”, will be held on Thursday, January 26, 1:00 p.m. ET, and will be presented by presented by Brian Jackson, VP and CMIO, at ARUP Laboratories.

Description: Which tests are performed in which settings: point of care, hospital lab, or reference lab? The answer in many cases is likely to change as healthcare moves to value-based payment models. This presentation will describe the value stream of testing and draw analogies to the computer hardware sector in order to suggest likely trends.
