PI Summit 2020 and the COVID-9 Outbreak

Friday, March 13, 2020

Dear API Members, PI Summit Registrants and Exhibitors,

Given the declaration of COVID-19 (coronavirus) as a global pandemic / national emergency, and government and state decisions to limit gatherings, the organizing committee is compelled, out of an abundance of caution for the well-being of both attendees and presenters, to cancel the 2020 Pathology Informatics Summit that was to be held in Pittsburgh May 18-21.

We have a lot of logistical details to work out. We will be supportive of our community including appropriate refunds for registration as needed, etc. Stay tuned for more information through the API website and our listserv.

The biggest loss however, will be not getting to interact and network with you, our colleagues, peers and our wonderful exhibitors, not to mention missing all the incredible educational and scientific content. We will be back in 2021 with an equally fantastic program!

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we continue efforts to determine the best path forward for Pathology Informatics Summit 2020.

Best Wishes and Continued Health to You All in this Challenging Time,
