Job Name: Clinical Informaticist The clinical laboratory informatics faculty will provide expert support for the breadth of pathology informatics across the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and the UW Health system. The candidate will work with leadership and clinical teams to advance goals of the department and the enterprise in areas which include LIS (Beaker), digital pathology, test utilization and regulatory compliance, among others. The informatics role will occupy approximately 50% of this individual's time, 20% will be spent with a suitable clinical activity and the rest of the time will be spent in research and teaching. Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the mission of the department via active participation in research and teaching programs, training of residents, fellows, and medical students, mentoring of trainees and participation in continuing medical education programs.
