We are so grateful for Dr. Pantanowitz and his 16 years of commitment to helping found the Journal in 2010. He leveraged his expansive expertise to help establish JPI as an increasingly recognized publication for cutting edge informatics research in pathology. He worked tirelessly to make the Journal successful over the years.   • Tirelessly campaigned for an Impact Factor (application finally under review) recognizing JPI’s significance and the subspecialty of pathology informatics in advancing patient care
